Upgrade

From time to time, it will be necessary to upgrade your BookingWizz application to the latest version.
Here are some important steps to remember as you upgrade:
If you have any version of BookingWizz that is earlier than v5.4, it will not be possible to upgrade it to latest version. In this case, you would need to do a fresh install, and you would not have the option to import your bookings and settings except by doing so manually,
one by one, or by seeking a web developer’s / web masters's help.

If you have BookingWizz v5.4 or higher and you need to upgrade, begin by doing a backup of your BookingWizz folder. Simply go to your FTP files and find the root folder where you installed BookingWizz.  If you don’t remember how to get to your FTP files, please CLICK HERE.

In the following image, you see our  “Treasure” folder and the “booking” folder. Simply drag this "booking" folder to your desktop and this will be your backup in case anything goes wrong during the installation of the upgraded BookingWizz application.

Now go to CodeCanyon and download the latest BookingWizz files from your downloads page. Unzip it to a folder on your desktop, find the “booking” folder, drag it to your desktop, then upload it to your existing booking folder on your site via FTP.

Be sure not to drag it “inside” the booking folder. Simply drag it to the root, and your computer will prompt if you want to overwrite the files in booking folder. Click “yes.”

If you are on a windows server, make sure your “internet user account from IIS” can upload files to the website.  If you are on a *nix server, be sure that "upload" & "log" directories have CHMOD 777.

Now open your browser and navigate to your site (yourdomain.com/booking/upgrade.php)  - and follow the on-screen instructions.
